Namiasi Lodge

Namiasi Lodge is situated in Mangochi in the southern region of Malawi. It is only about a kilometre’s drive from the main road and a few metres away from Lake Malawi, which is the third biggest lake in Africa. David Livingstone, the famous Scottish missionary explorer, who ‘discovered’ Zambezi River and Victoria Falls, was the first European to reach its shores. He dubbed it the Lake of Stars because of the light that dances across this fresh water body at different times of the day.
